Associate Legal Counsel (Entry Level)

About the role

We are looking for an entry‑level Associate Legal Counsel to join our corporate legal department. The role provides a broad range of legal support to internal business partners, focusing on commercial transactions, employment matters, and litigation management.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements such as vendor contracts, NDAs, licensing, SaaS, and partnership agreements.
• Advise business teams on contract risk, deal structure, and negotiation strategy; develop contract templates and playbooks.
• Provide HR and business leaders with guidance on hiring, terminations, leaves, investigations, and compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Maintain and update employment policies, handbooks, offer letters, severance agreements, and restrictive covenants.
• Monitor immigration requirements, I‑9 verification, E‑Verify, and support global mobility where applicable.
• Assist in managing the litigation docket, oversee outside counsel, control budgets, and support pre‑litigation activities.

Required profile

• Recent law school graduate or early‑career attorney seeking an in‑house position.
• Versatile generalist able to move between strategic advisory work and hands‑on execution.
• Strong ability to translate complex legal issues into clear business guidance.
• Proactive risk‑management mindset while enabling fast business decisions.
