Associate IT Service Center Rep

About the role

The Associate IT Service Center Representative works within the IT Technical Support Center at UAMS, providing first‑line assistance to staff, students, and faculty. This position is part of the Professional Staff – Project/Program Administration track and supports the university’s mission of collaborative health care, education, and research.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to incoming service requests and incidents via the ticketing system.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues for end users.
• Document resolutions and maintain accurate records of support activities.
• Escalate complex problems to senior technical teams as needed.
• Collaborate with other IT departments to ensure seamless service delivery.

Required profile

• Current University of Arkansas System employee (including student employees or graduate assistants).
• Legal authorization to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team‑oriented environment.
