Associate HR Business Partner

About the role

BlackRock is looking for an Associate HR Business Partner to support senior HRBPs across multiple business units. You will help deliver HR services, drive talent initiatives, and provide data‑driven insights to senior leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop executive‑ready presentations on HR strategy and operating models using PowerPoint and Excel.
• Lead end‑to‑end project management of talent initiatives, coordinating agendas, communications, and materials for internal HR and senior stakeholder meetings.
• Partner with managers to identify high‑potential talent, support performance management, and build employee engagement programs.
• Act as a liaison with Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Employee Relations, and other HR teams to execute business priorities.
• Support analytics requests on headcount, attrition, promotions, performance and surface trends to inform decision‑making.
• Leverage AI and Microsoft 365 tools, including Copilot, to streamline processes and create client‑ready materials.
• Report and analyze data from Workday and other HR systems.
• Assist with annual talent management processes, organizational design, employee relations, and leadership development initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in HR, consulting, or a similar fast‑paced global environment.
• Strong analytical and project‑management abilities with high attention to detail.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
• Proactive mindset, strong communication skills, and ability to adapt messaging for different audiences.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Experience with Workday HR system (preferred).
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools and AI‑enhanced features such as Copilot.
