About the role
This senior legal leadership position is responsible for shaping and scaling the global commercial legal strategy of a fast‑growing technology organization. Based in the United States, the role sits at the intersection of legal, sales, product and finance, enabling high‑velocity enterprise growth while managing commercial risk.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and scale the global commercial legal function across North America, EMEA and APAC.
- Define and implement commercial risk frameworks and negotiation standards.
- Advise Sales, Finance, Product, Security and executive leadership on complex enterprise agreements and cross‑border transactions.
- Build and develop a high‑performing legal team, ensuring operational independence and succession planning.
- Architect modern legal operations using AI, automation and data‑driven KPIs to improve contract lifecycle management.
- Partner with product, expansion and regulatory teams to create scalable legal structures.
Required profile
- 12+ years of legal experience with significant in‑house leadership in technology, SaaS or high‑growth global firms.
- Qualified lawyer in the US, UK or EU jurisdictions.
- Proven experience leading or scaling a commercial legal function in a multinational environment.
- Deep expertise in negotiating complex, cross‑border enterprise agreements.
- Strong ability to partner with executive stakeholders and drive strategic legal initiatives.
