Associate Financial Advisor – Salem, NH

About the role

The Associate Financial Advisor supports clients in identifying their financial needs, setting investment objectives, and implementing suitable investment and insurance solutions. Working closely with branch leadership and senior investment professionals, the role focuses on building and deepening client relationships while meeting sales and revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve investment sales, revenue, and client engagement goals as defined by management.
• Conduct client appointments in‑person, virtually, or by phone to assess financial needs and recommend solutions.
• Manage and grow an assigned client portfolio through relationship strengthening and opportunity identification.
• Ensure compliance with bank, broker/dealer, FINRA, state, and federal regulations, including Santander’s Uninsured Products Policy.
• Collaborate with Branch Managers, Field Advisors, and Licensed Bank Employees to generate referrals and support branch investment growth.
• Provide coaching and product awareness to internal partners to enhance referral generation.
• Participate in sales meetings, training, coaching sessions, and development initiatives.
• Execute business development activities aligned with acquisition strategies.
• Maintain accurate client records, complete operational tasks, and deliver timely activity and sales reports.
• Maintain required professional licenses, registrations, and continuing education.
