Associate Equipment Engineer

About the role

The Associate Equipment Engineer will work in a cleanroom environment supporting semiconductor wafer manufacturing at Bosch's Roseville site. You will apply engineering knowledge to troubleshoot, maintain, and improve production equipment, ensuring high throughput and minimal downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Support line maintenance and process engineering in troubleshooting wafer manufacturing issues.
• Collaborate with vendors to install, commission, and learn new semiconductor equipment.
• Improve equipment throughput and reduce downtime through procurement, installation, upgrades, and design modifications.
• Conduct equipment failure analysis, track trends, and implement performance improvements.
• Repair assigned equipment using troubleshooting techniques and hand tools.
• Document equipment status, interface with supervisors, production, engineering, and other work groups.
• Provide escalation support for unscheduled events and ensure safety and cleanroom compliance.
• Train maintenance technicians to enhance 24x7 response capability.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 0‑3 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and interpret technical documents.
• Strong communication skills with vendors, engineers, and operators.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
