Associate Director, Public Affairs & Policy – Neurology

About the role

The Associate Director, Public Affairs & Policy – Neurology will lead policy initiatives for Servier’s neurology franchise, shaping federal and state strategies to improve patient access to therapies. Reporting to the Director of Public Affairs and Policy, the role collaborates with cross‑functional teams and external stakeholders to translate policy developments into actionable business recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead policy intelligence on federal and state developments affecting neurology, rare disease access, coding, coverage and reimbursement.
• Develop short‑ and long‑term impact analyses of proposed policies and guide strategy for product launch readiness and pipeline planning.
• Serve as the subject‑matter expert at public affairs events, trade association work groups and external engagements with policymakers and advocacy organizations.
• Partner with internal teams—including Patient Advocacy, Market Access, Regulatory Affairs and Patient Services—to align policy positions and educate stakeholders.
• Monitor political and regulatory climate, track newborn‑screening and disease‑state access policies, and provide timely updates to leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in health policy, public health, political science or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 8+ years of experience in federal and/or state health policy, Medicare, Medicaid, or related pharmaceutical policy work.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze policy trends, assess business impact and deliver strategic recommendations.
• Strong project‑management and budget‑oversight skills, with experience managing consultant workstreams.
