Associate Director, Deliverable Management

About the role

The Associate Director, Deliverable Management will lead a central headquarters operations team responsible for global project deliverable management across a complex, multi‑country fixed‑amount award. Reporting to the Director of Management, this senior role ensures milestones are tracked, compliance is maintained, and operational support is provided to country and HQ teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the HQ operations team to design, implement, and maintain milestone management systems, trackers, and SOPs.
• Coordinate with project leadership, finance, strategic information, and country teams to ensure timely submission of deliverables.
• Provide orientation, training, and troubleshooting support on milestone management to global staff.
• Facilitate monthly deliverable‑tracking meetings and highlight emerging risks.
• Develop and deliver training materials, webinars, and ad‑hoc sessions for fixed‑amount award compliance.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to mitigate risks and ensure adherence to financial and administrative processes.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in managing large, multi‑country projects.
• Strong understanding of donor regulations and fixed‑amount award structures.
• Excellent communication and capacity‑building skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across diverse functional teams.
