About the role

Georgia Northwestern Technical College seeks a qualified nursing professional to join the Walker County Campus as a part‑time Associate Degree Nursing Adjunct Instructor. You will deliver classroom and clinical instruction for Med/Surg, OB, Pediatrics, and Mental Health courses, ensuring students gain hands‑on experience.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with faculty to design and deliver learning experiences aligned with program outcomes.
• Conduct and supervise clinical activities, guaranteeing safe and high‑quality patient care simulations.
• Teach dual‑enrolled students across multiple campus locations as needed.
• Maintain effective working relationships with students, staff, and external partners.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (RN) with progress toward a graduate nursing degree.
• Knowledge of the Georgia Board of Nursing Code of Ethics and Nurse Practice Act.
• Commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and the Technical College System of Georgia.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to present to small and large groups.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience using internet and database applications for clinical documentation.
