Associate Data Scientist

About the role

The Associate Data Scientist supports data‑science initiatives that improve profitability, efficiency and customer experience. Working closely with senior data scientists, you will apply advanced analytics methods to large data sets, develop models, and translate insights into actionable business recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop algorithms and predictive models on large datasets to generate business insights.
• Conduct data analysis, support data‑science projects, and ensure high‑quality, efficient execution of tasks.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists or Senior Data Scientists to select appropriate analytical methodologies.
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and updates on project progress.
• Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging data‑science techniques.

Required profile

• At least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics) or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or related fields.
• Strong ability to learn quickly, communicate effectively, and apply business knowledge to technical solutions.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python (or another modern scripting language).
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Experience creating presentations with Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Ability to write and run data queries (e.g., SQL or similar).
