Associate Customer Account Specialist (2nd Shift)

About the role

As an Associate Customer Account Specialist on the 2nd shift, you will ensure every customer enjoys a smooth experience in the operating room. You will respond quickly and courteously to inbound calls, process orders accurately, and act as a trusted advocate for customers across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with independent agencies in a defined geographic area to resolve account and support issues.
• Receive, evaluate, verify, and process consignment, direct sales, and loaner orders.
• Validate order accuracy, flag inconsistencies, and ensure compliance with departmental policies.
• Advocate for customers, escalating issues to management when needed.
• Identify pricing discrepancies and work with the Pricing Administrator to resolve them.
• Investigate invoice discrepancies and process credits or rebills according to policy.
• Refer product‑failure complaints to the Regulatory Department for investigation.
• Provide superior service to internal and external customers while adhering to quality and regulatory standards.
• Support teammates, sales personnel, and other departments as required.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience; healthcare experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication abilities.
• Detail‑oriented with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and work with minimal supervision.
