Associate Consultant – Construction Project Controls

About the role

Peritia, a boutique construction consulting firm, is looking for an Associate Consultant to join its growing project controls, scheduling, estimating, and construction consulting practice. The role can be based in either Houston or Austin, Texas, and offers the chance to work directly with experienced consultants and firm leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the development, review, and QA/QC of CPM schedules, including baseline, forecast, and progress updates.
• Support schedule‑related project controls activities such as pull planning, look‑ahead schedules, time impact analyses, and schedule forecasting.
• Review and analyze project cost control documents, quantity takeoffs, estimates, budgets, and change orders.
• Compile and organize project records (contracts, drawings, specifications, daily reports, RFIs, etc.) for forensic consulting and claims analysis.
• Provide proactive project controls support on active projects and forensic consulting support on claims.
