About the role

The Associate Clinical Billing Specialist supports the financial operations of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences by ensuring accurate billing for clinical services. This entry‑level position works closely with clinical staff and the finance department to process claims, resolve billing issues, and maintain compliance with regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit clinical billing claims in accordance with payer guidelines.
• Review and reconcile patient accounts, identifying discrepancies and correcting errors.
• Collaborate with clinicians and department staff to gather necessary documentation for billing.
• Respond to payer inquiries and resolve claim denials.

Required profile
