Associate – Building Assessments

About the role

We are seeking a technical expert in building systems to lead inspections, engage with clients, and manage complex real‑estate assets. As part of the property condition assessments team you will work directly with owners, operators and institutional investors across the full building lifecycle—from acquisition through long‑term capital planning. This leadership position offers the chance to manage inspections, mentor staff and shape service delivery on a national platform.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage property inspections and technical due‑diligence projects.
• Advise clients on capital planning and building‑performance strategies.
• Oversee reporting, quality‑control processes and coordinate the assessment team.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on business growth, client relationships and service innovation.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to training and technical standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in architecture, engineering, construction or facilities consulting.
• Strong understanding of building systems, codes and capital‑forecasting methodologies.
• Proven experience managing people and client‑facing project work.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
