Associate Attorney – License Agreements & Leasing

About the role

We are seeking an Associate Attorney to join our Lake Success office, focusing on license agreements, leasing matters, and related litigation. This full‑time position offers the chance to develop deep expertise at the intersection of commercial real estate and litigation within a growing practice.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate, and analyze license/access agreements for construction projects.
• Prepare and amend commercial leases, renewals, and related documentation.
• Conduct legal research, draft memoranda, and communicate with clients and opposing counsel.
• Advise clients on contractual rights, obligations, and risk management.
• Manage matters from inception to resolution under partner supervision.
• Collaborate with attorneys and staff across multiple practice areas to meet client needs.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Active New York bar admission in good standing.
• 2–5 years of post‑law school experience.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented, client‑focused, and able to manage multiple deadlines.
• Self‑starter who works independently yet thrives in a team environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Proficiency with Outlook.
