About the role
We are seeking an Associate Attorney with 2‑3 years of experience to join our high‑volume litigation team in Lake Success, NY. The role offers hands‑on guidance and mentoring to help you develop confidence and competence as a litigator.
Key responsibilities
- Manage your own litigation docket under senior attorney supervision.
- Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other court documents.
- Participate in court appearances, hearings, and settlement negotiations.
- Collaborate with the firm’s healthcare reimbursement and recovery practice groups.
Required profile
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- 2‑3 years of post‑law‑school experience.
- Licensed to practice law in New York State.
- Strong interest in litigation and ability to work independently.
- Excellent work ethic and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with MS Word and Outlook.
