Associate Analytics Engineer

About the role

Greystar’s D²AI (Data, Digital, and AI) team is seeking an early‑career Associate Analytics Engineer to transform data into products that support better business decisions. You will join a forward‑deployed Decision Intelligence pod, collaborating closely with a critical business area to understand goals, workflows, and challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Use SQL, Python, Databricks, and AI‑enabled tools to analyze data and build data products.
• Work directly with business partners to translate problems into practical solutions.
• Build and maintain reliable data models, dashboards, analyses, and lightweight web applications.
• Incorporate AI tools and automation into the development workflow.
• Validate data quality to ensure accuracy, reliability, and proper documentation.
• Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience, including internships, co‑ops, academic projects, or personal projects.
• Strong SQL skills and working knowledge of Python.
• Exposure to data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
• Hands‑on experience using AI tools in coursework or personal projects.
