About the role

The Quality Control Assistant supports the laboratory team in ensuring that all food products meet Griffith Foods' high standards for safety, quality and regulatory compliance. Working in a collaborative environment, the assistant records data, prepares documents and helps maintain a clean, organized lab.

Key responsibilities

• Enter data into systems and spreadsheets, prepare and verify test reports.
• Organize quality system documentation and assist with external sample shipments.
• Support analyses under the supervision of technicians or quality analysts, following product specifications and timelines.
• Promote and disseminate the company’s quality culture through daily actions and communication.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of all generated data.
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness, including glassware washing, waste disposal and workstation organization.
• Report any deviations to the Quality Manager for appropriate product disposition.
• Conduct short training sessions for operational teams as defined by quality leadership.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a technical degree in Food Science, Chemistry or a related field.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Familiarity with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
