Assistant/Associate/Full Professor – Endocrinology (Clinical Scholar Pathway)

About the role

The Division of Endocrinology and Diabetes at the University of Vermont seeks a board‑eligible or board‑certified clinician‑educator endocrinologist for an Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor appointment on the Clinical Scholar Pathway. The position is primarily based at Central Vermont Medical Center with collaborative duties at the University of Vermont Medical Center.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive endocrine and specialty diabetes clinical services to a large geographic region.
• Engage in teaching activities for medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Collaborate with research programs focused on diabetes, obesity, metabolic bone disease, and health‑care delivery.
• Contribute to departmental service and academic governance.

Required profile

• MD or DO (or MD/DO with PhD) with specialty training in diabetes.
• Board‑eligible or board‑certified in endocrinology.
• Experience delivering endocrine clinical services in a university setting is preferred.
• Commitment to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion through research, teaching, or service.
