Assistant/Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship

About the role

The Stephenson Department of Entrepreneurship & Information Systems seeks a tenure‑track faculty member at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank to join its teaching and research community beginning Fall 2027. The role involves delivering entrepreneurship courses to undergraduate and graduate students and advancing scholarly work in the field.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate entrepreneurship courses, typically two courses per semester.
• Conduct high‑quality research and publish in leading entrepreneurship and related journals.
• Provide service to the department, college, and university.

Required profile

• Ph.D. or DBA in Entrepreneurship, Management, or a related discipline (ABD candidates considered for Assistant rank).
• Demonstrated record of research excellence or strong potential for a research agenda.
• Evidence of effective teaching or clear potential for high‑quality instruction.
• Assistant Professor: 0‑5 years of experience; Associate Professor: 6+ years of experience.
