Assistant Volleyball Coach (Level 2)

About the role
The University of Miami is seeking an Assistant Coach 2 to support the women’s volleyball program. Working directly with the Head Coach, you will help develop athletes, manage recruiting activities, and ensure compliance with NCAA regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Head Coach in coaching assigned positions and athletes.
- Plan and implement court training sessions and scouting reports.
- Coordinate recruiting correspondence, evaluations, and campus visits.
- Maintain team rules, policies, and equipment logistics.
- Provide video and statistical analysis using tools such as Volleymetrics, VolleyStation, and Data Volley.
- Handle administrative duties including data entry, manager supervision, and alumni relations.
- Represent the university at athletic events and uphold compliance standards.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree.
- At least three years of relevant coaching or athletic administration experience.
- Strong knowledge of NCAA and Atlantic Coast Conference regulations.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
