Assistant Superintendent, Asset Management Programs

About the role

The Assistant Superintendent supports the Construction Manager and Project Manager in delivering construction projects within the Asset Management Programs. This on‑site role coordinates daily activities, ensures work complies with drawings and specifications, and maintains high quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activities on specific project sites, liaising between contractors, subcontractors, and park operating departments.
• Inspect work to verify compliance with the latest drawings, specifications, and Universal’s environmental, health and safety procedures.
• Document daily resources, progress, and any issues affecting site cleanliness, order, efficiency, and productivity.
• Review contractor and vendor requests against drawings and resolve field issues that could impact the schedule.
• Organise inspections, job‑site meetings, and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
• Assist the AMP Project Team with quality‑control monitoring and schedule tracking for contractors and subcontractors.
• Identify and document conflicts in structural, architectural, mechanical, or electrical drawings and report them to management.
• Support environmental, health, and safety initiatives by following established policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Technical school (2 years) in construction, engineering, or architecture **or** an Associate’s degree in the same fields.
• Minimum of 2 years of field experience in construction or related disciplines.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong understanding of construction quality‑control and safety practices.
