Assistant Store Manager – Retail

About the role

Assistant Store Manager is an integral part of the store management team, responsible for developing the team and ensuring operational excellence. The role assumes store responsibility in the absence of the Store Manager and supports the leadership team in driving sales, customer satisfaction and brand equity.

Key responsibilities

• Implement strategies to grow sales and analyze data to drive revenue growth.
• Mentor and motivate team members by providing guidance and leading by example.
• Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency and uphold high standards.
• Provide outstanding customer service and create a welcoming shopping environment.

Required profile

• 3+ years retail leadership experience with proven coaching and training skills.
• Discretion, professional judgement, tact and diplomacy.
• Collaborative role model aligned with company culture and policies.
• Ability to handle heavy lifting (up to 40 lb) and perform physical tasks such as kneeling, reaching overhead and climbing ladders.
