Assistant Store Manager – Retail (Full Time)

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager at the Levi’s® Tejon Ranch Outlets in Arvin, CA. The role will help drive operational excellence, brand standards and financial performance while stepping in to lead the store when needed.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations, including payroll, cash handling and inventory control.
• Ensure compliance with all operational standards and hold the team accountable.
• Assist in hiring, training and retaining staff that embody Levi Strauss & Co. selling practices.
• Maintain flawless visual presentation and adapt merchandising as required.
• Lead the merchandising team to meet RFID‑enabled inventory and visual standards.
• Drive adoption of processes, tools and best practices across the store.
• Recruit and interview candidates for stylist positions and make hiring recommendations.
• Coach and develop associates, manage minor employee‑relations issues and enforce company policies.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of progressive retail leadership experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong retail apparel background with a focus on customer service.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment and handle last‑minute changes.
• Excellent judgment, discretion and diplomatic communication.
• Energetic, positive demeanor and passion for the Levi’s brand.
