About the role

The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager and Associate Store Manager in achieving Levi's® Store Iconic status. This role helps develop the store team, ensures operational excellence, and drives brand equity, customer satisfaction, and financial growth.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee store procedures, payroll, cash handling, and inventory control.
• Hold self and team accountable for meeting all operational standards.
• Assist in hiring, training, and retaining staff that embody Levi Strauss & Co. selling practices.
• Maintain flawless visual presentation and recommend merchandising adaptations.
• Recruit, screen, and recommend candidates for stylist positions.
• Coach and develop associates, handling minor employee‑relations issues.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of progressive retail leadership experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Proven ability to supervise, coach, and train sales associates.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent judgment, discretion, and ability to quickly learn new computer programs.
