Assistant Purchasing Manager

About the role

Four Seasons Hotel and Residences New Orleans is looking for an Assistant Purchasing Manager to support the Purchasing, Receiving and Storeroom teams. The role ensures that all goods are properly documented, priced and rotated, enabling the hotel to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and collaborate with Receiving and Storeroom teams to document, date, price and rotate incoming goods according to Four Seasons standards.
• Verify purchase requests are accurately documented, approved and completed before creating purchase orders.
• Contribute to month‑end, quarterly and annual inventory processes for food, beverage and operating equipment.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels by balancing par standards with on‑hand quantities.
• Work closely with Accounts Payable and other cross‑functional teams to identify and resolve billing and invoice discrepancies.

Required profile

• Experience in purchasing, receiving or storeroom operations within a hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of local and corporate purchasing policies and internal controls.
• Ability to manage inventory processes and ensure accurate documentation.
• Collaborative mindset to work with finance and operational teams.
