Key responsibilities

• Provide competent and zealous legal representation to indigent clients.
• Handle beginning‑level professional legal work and cases of routine complexity.
• Conduct legal research, draft motions, and prepare clients for trial.
• Manage case files and maintain accurate records.
• Perform other related duties as required by the office.

Required profile

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited college or university.
• License to practice law in the State of Georgia or eligibility to sit for the Georgia Bar Exam and obtain licensure within one year of hiring.
• Strong commitment to public defense and serving indigent clients.
• Solid case‑management abilities; prior experience is preferred.
