Assistant Property Manager – Wadsworth Junction

About the role

The Assistant Property Manager supports the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational aspects of the Wadsworth Junction community. This position handles accounting, rent collection, invoicing, and uses property‑management software to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and post rent, fees, and other resident payments daily.
• Prepare daily bank deposits, reconcile bank accounts, and process month‑end close‑out.
• Generate financial reports and process vendor invoices, coding charges to the appropriate Chart of Accounts.
• Operate Yardi/OneSite property‑management software, entering data accurately and maintaining system integrity.
• Review resident files for unpaid or late fees, communicate with residents, and enforce lease terms to maximize revenue.
• Handle eviction procedures, including notice requirements and court representation when needed.
• Process resident move‑outs, applying lease terms, deposits, and applicable fees.

Required profile

• Experience with property‑management accounting and bookkeeping tasks.
• Familiarity with lease agreements, eviction processes, and resident communications.
• Ability to work independently while supporting the Community Manager.
