Assistant Project Manager – Mission Critical

About the role

Alston Construction is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support mission‑critical projects in either Harlingen, TX or Tulsa, OK. The role assists the Project Manager in delivering construction projects safely, on schedule, and within budget while maintaining strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor project progress to ensure quality, schedule, and budget targets are met.
• Review contract, design, and subcontract documents for conflicts, compliance, and constructability.
• Maintain document control, including submittals, shop drawings, and as‑built records.
• Collaborate with the Superintendent to coordinate field activities and uphold safety and quality standards.
• Develop and update a master project schedule, reporting status and variances.
• Assist in preparing responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and other bid documents.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in construction project coordination or assistance.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication abilities.
• Ability to work on‑site and travel as required.
