Assistant Project Manager – Construction (NYC)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Assistant Project Manager to support high‑end residential construction projects across New York City. The role involves daily coordination, documentation, and on‑site support to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with day‑to‑day coordination and administration.
• Track project schedules, budgets, and procurement activities.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, architects, and design teams.
• Review drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Monitor material deliveries and lead times.
• Support change orders, RFIs, submittals, and meeting minutes.
• Conduct site visits and aid quality‑control efforts.
• Maintain organized project records and reporting.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in construction management, project coordination, or a related field.
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
