Assistant Professor of Management (Tenure-Track)

About the role

The College of Business at Texas A&M University‑San Antonio seeks a full‑time, tenure‑track Assistant Professor of Management to begin in Fall 2026. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Human Resources, Organizational Behavior, and related management subjects while pursuing a strong research agenda.

Key responsibilities

• Teach three courses per semester (3/3 load) in HR, Organizational Behavior, or other management areas.
• Develop and deliver course materials for on‑campus, hybrid, and online formats.
• Conduct scholarly research and aim to publish in high‑quality discipline or business journals.
• Participate in departmental and college service activities.

Required profile

• Ph.D. or DBA in Management (or ABD with completion expected by August 2026).
• Specialization or strong focus in Organizational Behavior or Human Resources.
• At least 18 graduate credit hours in each teaching field.
• Demonstrated commitment to high‑quality teaching and research.

Required skills

• Ability to teach both in‑person and online (hybrid) courses.
• Experience with curriculum development and assessment.
• Familiarity with research databases such as WRDS.
