About the role

The Rucks Department of Management at LSU seeks a tenure‑track Assistant Professor in Organizational Behavior/Human Resource Management to begin in Fall 2027. The position blends undergraduate and graduate teaching with a robust research agenda aimed at top‑tier management journals.

Key responsibilities

• Teach two courses per semester (approximately four courses per academic year) primarily in Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management.
• Conduct and publish scholarly research in leading management or related journals.
• Contribute to departmental service and university activities, accounting for about 10% of the workload.

Required profile

• PhD or DBA in Management or a related field (ABD candidates will be considered).
• 0‑6 years of relevant experience; senior assistant professors are also encouraged to apply.
• Demonstrated excellence or strong potential in both research and teaching.
• Competencies: research (proficient), course instruction (proficient), communication (advanced).
