Key responsibilities

• Coordinate implementation of nursing curricula and develop classroom and clinical learning activities.
• Plan, deliver, and evaluate assigned courses, including clinical and practice components.
• Participate in faculty organizations, university committees, and task forces.
• Maintain an annual performance portfolio documenting teaching effectiveness, scholarship, and service.

Required profile

• PhD or equivalent doctorate in nursing or a related specialization.
• Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Experience teaching nursing courses, including clinical practice.
• Current or eligible Texas RN licensure.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of nursing education and clinical practice.
• Research expertise with a record of scholarly publications and grant writing.
• Ability to mentor students and faculty in academic and research activities.
