About the role

The Archdiocese of Philadelphia’s Office of Catholic Education is seeking a dynamic leader to serve as Assistant Principal for Academic Affairs at Saint Hubert High School for Girls. Reporting to the Principal, you will help shape a faith‑based, student‑centered learning environment that prepares young women for college, career, and lifelong service.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Principal and academic departments to refine the school’s instructional vision, set annual academic goals, and design aligned professional‑development programs.
• Observe, evaluate, and coach teachers, dedicating approximately 80 % of the day to instructional leadership activities such as walkthroughs, feedback sessions, and data‑driven decision‑making.
• Develop and maintain the annual program of studies, oversee course selection, master roster creation, and serve as Advanced Placement and dual‑enrollment coordinator.
• Manage daily substitute assignments, schedule and administer standardized assessments (PSAT, SAT, benchmark tests), and support entrance exam logistics.
• Ensure timely production of progress reports, report cards, transcripts, and coordinate parent‑teacher conferences and Back‑to‑School Night events.
• Lead the Office of Academic Affairs staff and handle external requests for academic documentation.
