Assistant Merchant, Global Women's Bottoms

About the role

Levi Strauss & Co. is looking for an Assistant Merchant to support the Global Women’s Bottoms category. You will help manage product lifecycles, coordinate inventory, and facilitate cross‑functional communication to execute merchandising strategies across DTC and wholesale channels.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain data‑entry integrity and seasonal product information in all product management systems.
• Manage and organize samples for global product categories.
• Support senior merchant with product development activities as needed.
• Serve as a conduit for information, materials, and samples to cluster merchandising and cross‑functional teams.
• Create line plans and communicate them with key business partners.
• Assist in preparation for milestone events, product performance reviews, and sell‑out reports.
• Conduct targeted consumer and competitor research through market shopping and fashion publications.
• Perform administrative tasks for the merchandising team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising, Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
• 2+ years of experience in merchandising, retail planning, or product development.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
• Passion for product and the consumer.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of PLM systems (a plus).
