About the role

Marni is seeking a dynamic Assistant Merchandiser to support growth across its North American market. The role blends analytical expertise with merchandising insight to help shape assortment strategy, manage product lifecycles, and meet financial targets for the full‑price business.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver weekly sales analysis and performance tracking.
• Identify market trends and growth opportunities.
• Manage assortment planning tools and support full‑cycle buying from concept to execution.
• Maintain detailed assortment documentation and process markdown strategies.
• Collaborate with Digital, Marketing, Visual Merchandising, and Retail teams on store‑specific strategies.
• Support global merchandising initiatives and participate in market campaigns.
• Process and track shipments, ensuring timely deliveries to stores.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in retail buying or merchandising.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Hybrid work model with four days per week in the NYC office.
• Passion for luxury fashion and strong business acumen.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.
