Assistant Manager

About the role

Panda Express is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Manager to support the daily operations of a single restaurant location. You will work closely with the Store Manager to drive financial performance, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and develop a high‑performing team.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in hiring, training, and supervising associates.
• Monitor sales, labor, and cost controls to meet financial targets.
• Maintain food safety standards, including Serve Safe certification.
• Deliver consistent, high‑quality guest service.
• Handle scheduling, inventory management, and store opening/closing procedures.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Flexibility to work within a 50‑mile radius of the store.
• Availability for a flexible schedule, including weekends.
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lb, and work in a fast‑paced kitchen environment.

Required skills

• Food safety knowledge (Serve Safe certified).
