About the role

The Assistant Golf Professional supports the Director of Golf and Head Golf Professional in delivering exceptional golf experiences for members and guests. This onsite role involves overseeing daily club operations, tournaments, instructional programs, and ensuring high standards of service and club culture.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise daily golf and club operations, including member services, tournaments, events, and instructional programs.
• Maintain a welcoming and professional atmosphere for members, guests, and visitors.
• Manage golf cart fleet, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and readiness.
• Oversee practice facilities, keeping amenities set up and replenished.
• Support golf instruction initiatives such as group clinics, private lessons, and junior development.
• Monitor pace of play and enforce club standards, rules, and etiquette.
• Assist with tournament logistics, scoring, staffing, and communications.
• Perform basic club repairs and keep accurate inventory of equipment and supplies.
• Assist retail operations with merchandising, inventory management, and sales support.
• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and maintaining member satisfaction.
• Supervise golf staff, handling scheduling, payroll, performance evaluations, and task follow‑up.
• Facilitate staff training, onboarding, and ongoing professional development.
• Ensure compliance with club policies, safety procedures, and service standards.
• Collaborate with other departments for seamless cross‑functional operations.
