Assistant General Manager - Taco Bell

About the role

This Assistant General Manager position is based at a Taco Bell franchise in Prince George, Virginia. The role supports the Restaurant General Manager by upholding brand standards and leading the team, taking charge of daily operations in the GM's absence and making key decisions. The franchisee is the employer, and pay ranges from $14.00 to $24.48 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure products are made to standard and that all Guest Metrics are followed
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards, including the physical plant
• Assist in executing new product training rollouts
• Assist in hiring, training and developing new team members
• Help achieve the restaurant's financial goals and track and analyze sales, labor, inventory and controls daily
• Take corrective action so the restaurant exceeds targets and give feedback to management on new hire performance
• Maintain equipment, facilities and grounds through a preventative maintenance program

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED; minimum age 18
• At least 1 year of assistant management experience; food service experience is a plus
• Valid driver's license and reliable private transportation
• Able to work a varied schedule including late nights and weekends
• Must pass a background check
