Assistant General Manager

About the role

The Assistant General Manager supports the Store Director in leading a Zara store, ensuring sales targets are met while delivering an excellent customer experience. This role bridges product, operations, and people, requiring a strong commercial mindset and the ability to drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Support the director in achieving sales targets across all sections and monitor product displays.
• Conduct product analysis, track trends, and implement actions to improve performance.
• Manage warehouse stock, merchandise flows, and ensure compliance with omnichannel processes.
• Organize staffing plans, create schedules, and oversee training programs.
• Maintain store technology, supervise device operation, and lead new project implementations.
• Minimize shrinkage and coordinate corrective action plans.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and timely resolution of incidents.
