Assistant General Manager, Cultivation

About the role

The Assistant General Manager, Cultivation works directly with the Cultivation General Manager to oversee daily operations at the cultivation site. This hands‑on leadership position supports the team in all phases of cannabis production, from propagation to harvest.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all duties of a Cultivation Technician III, including watering, feeding, pruning, cloning, transplanting, and harvesting.
• Provide leadership and on‑site support across propagation, cultivation, and harvest activities.
• Coordinate production plans, schedules, and daily tasks to keep flower production on track.
• Implement plant maintenance, fertigation programs, and Integrated Pest Management (IPM) strategies.
• Manage pest pressure in collaboration with the IPM Manager and GM using environmental controls.
• Oversee fertilization protocols, spray schedules, and nutrient feeding programs.
• Maintain a clean, pest‑ and disease‑free environment.
• Execute Track and Trace protocols and train staff on their use.
• Monitor building infrastructure and equipment, schedule preventive maintenance, and coordinate repairs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Minimum age of 21 and able to pass a criminal background check.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
• Previous experience in agricultural, warehouse, manufacturing, or labor‑intensive environments preferred.

• Flexibility to work in various areas of the department as needed.
