Assistant Financial Examiner – Oklahoma City

About the role

As an Assistant Financial Examiner at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, you will help ensure the safety and soundness of the nation’s financial system while working from the Oklahoma City office.

Key responsibilities

• Review financial information and assess legal and regulatory compliance of banking organizations.
• Evaluate risks and investigate root causes of potential issues.
• Lead meetings with executive leaders at financial institutions and produce clear written reports.
• Collaborate with examination team members and reach consensus across diverse audiences.
• Provide guidance to banking executives and coach team members to improve performance.
• Share knowledge proactively and give peer‑level feedback.

Required profile

• Minimum 0 years of banking industry experience related to audit, credit analysis, regulatory compliance, information security, cybersecurity, or asset/liability management.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
• Willingness to travel 20‑30 % of the time.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, web‑based applications, and email.
• Ability to work from the Oklahoma City office.
• Preferred: 2+ years of banking experience, graduate degree, and demonstrated leadership.
