Assistant Field Superintendent – Commercial Construction

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Field Superintendent to support our commercial construction projects across New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, and the Mid‑Atlantic. This full‑time, salaried position offers hands‑on experience from pre‑construction through closeout, working directly with seasoned Project Managers and Superintendents.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Superintendent in daily construction management and site coordination.
• Coordinate subcontractors, deliveries, and material staging.
• Support project scheduling, progress tracking, and documentation.
• Monitor jobsite safety, OSHA compliance, and participate in inspections.
• Maintain as‑built drawings, surveys, and project records.
• Communicate with owners, architects, subcontractors, and the project team.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of commercial construction field experience.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• OSHA 30 certification or ability to obtain it.
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and willingness to travel daily.
