About the role

The Department of Residence Life at Texas A&M University seeks an Assistant Director to lead student leadership development initiatives. This full‑time, on‑site position supports residential students through advising, program creation, and partnership building across campus.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the day‑to‑day advisor for the Residential Housing Association.
• Design, implement, and evaluate department‑wide leadership development programs.
• Advise student organization advisors and ensure compliance with university policies.
• Collaborate with university units to coordinate conferences, training sessions, and other leadership events.
• Supervise staff and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
