Assistant Director of UREC Sports

About the role

The Assistant Director of UREC Sports supports the leadership of the University Recreation (UREC) program, helping to deliver high‑quality sports and recreational experiences for students at the University of Arkansas. This full‑time, on‑campus position works closely with the Director to plan, coordinate, and evaluate athletic and wellness initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of UREC sports programs and events.
• Coordinate scheduling, staffing, and facility usage for recreational activities.
• Support budgeting, reporting, and resource allocation for the sports department.
• Collaborate with student organizations, faculty, and external partners to enhance program offerings.
• Oversee compliance with university policies, safety standards, and NCAA regulations where applicable.
