Assistant Director for Enrollment Communications

About the role

The University of Arkansas at Fort Smith seeks an Assistant Director for Enrollment Communications to lead and enhance the university's enrollment messaging. This professional staff position will support the university’s mission of providing transformative, hands‑on learning experiences for a diverse student body.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic communication plans that promote enrollment initiatives.
• Create, edit, and distribute content across digital, print, and social channels targeting prospective students.
• Collaborate with admissions, academic departments, and external partners to ensure consistent messaging.
• Analyze communication metrics to refine outreach tactics and improve recruitment outcomes.
• Oversee the production of promotional materials, webinars, and virtual events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in higher‑education enrollment or marketing communications.
• Strong leadership and project‑management abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
