Assistant Director for Admissions

About the role

The Assistant Director for Admissions supports the Director in leading admissions and recruitment initiatives for a state‑wide education program. This role enhances the prospective student experience and helps meet enrollment targets through strategic outreach and personalized guidance.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute admissions, recruitment, and outreach activities.
• Supervise the Dual Enrollment team and act as an Admissions Recruiter.
• Develop and participate in campus visits, information sessions, program showcases, and open‑house events.
• Represent the organization at community, educational, and workforce development events.
• Guide prospective students through program options, admission requirements, registration steps, and available resources.
• Monitor and respond to student inquiries promptly and personally.
• Review and process applications, evaluate transcripts, and maintain accurate student records.
• Ensure compliance with institutional, state, and federal policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• At least two years of related experience in admissions, recruitment, or student services.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent customer‑service orientation and communication abilities.
• Demonstrated teamwork and collaborative mindset.
