Assistant Community Manager – West Village

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support the Community Manager of the West Village property. The role focuses on financial and operational tasks, ensuring accurate accounting, rent collection, and vendor management.

Key responsibilities

• Process daily financial transactions, collect and post rent, fees, and other payments.
• Prepare daily bank deposits, reconcile bank accounts, and generate financial reports.
• Operate Yardi/OneSite property management software, entering data accurately and maintaining system integrity.
• Review resident accounts, identify late fees, communicate with residents, and enforce lease terms to maximize revenue.
• Review and code vendor invoices, obtain Community Manager approval, and coordinate payments.
• Follow established eviction procedures and represent the community in court hearings when required.
• Manage resident move‑out processes, including lease term review, deposit handling, and fee assessment.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record‑keeping.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and property management processes.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, vendors, and internal teams.
• Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Yardi property management software.
• Proficiency with OneSite property management software.
• Experience using accounting or financial software tools.
