Assistant Community Manager – Urban East

About the role

The Assistant Community Manager will support the community’s financial and operational functions for the Urban East property. Working closely with the Assistant Community Manager, you will handle accounting tasks, rent collection, invoicing, and reporting using property management software.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and post rent, fees, and other resident payments; prepare daily bank deposits and reconcile accounts.
• Process invoices, code charges to the appropriate chart of accounts, and coordinate with vendors and contractors.
• Generate monthly financial reports, assist with month‑end close, and maintain accurate bookkeeping records.
• Operate Yardi/OneSite software, ensuring data integrity through proper entry, updates, and backups.
• Review resident files for delinquent balances, communicate with residents, and enforce lease terms to maximize revenue.
• Assist with eviction procedures, court representation, and resident move‑out processing, including deposit and fee assessments.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented individual with strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while supporting a team in a fast‑paced property environment.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and real‑estate operations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Yardi or OneSite property management software.
• Experience in rent collection, invoice processing, and bank reconciliations.
