Assistant Community Manager – The Station

About the role

The Assistant Community Manager will support the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational aspects of The Station, a mid‑rise lease‑up community of 302 units. This position combines accounting, resident relations, and property‑management software duties to ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and post rent, fees, and other payments; prepare daily bank deposits and reconcile accounts.
• Generate monthly close‑out and financial reports; process invoices and payables.
• Operate Yardi/OneSite property‑management software, ensuring accurate data entry and system integrity.
• Review resident files for unpaid balances, communicate with residents, and enforce lease terms to maximize revenue.
• Submit vendor invoices for approval, code charges to the appropriate chart of accounts, and coordinate with accounting and ownership.
• Follow established eviction procedures, represent the community in court hearings, and manage resident move‑out processes.

Required profile

• Experience in community or property management with a focus on financial operations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple transactions accurately.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with residents, vendors, and internal teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Yardi or OneSite property‑management software.
